第五届设计北京博览会将于2019年4月26日至4月29日如期在在北京·全国农业展览馆见面，本届博览会主题为“设计予己”，将关注焦点回归到对人类自我价值的关照当中，以此发掘并推荐更多适合国人的优秀设计。

The 5th Design Beijing fair will last four days from April 26th to 29th in 2019 at National Agricultural Exhibition Center (Beijing). With the theme of “DESIGN FOR SELF”, this year’s exposition will place the focus of attention back to human self-worth, to thus explore and recommend more excellent design works to the public.

围绕主题我们将继续推出“国际跨界合作”、“多元亚洲平台”、“Design in Art，Art in Design”、“设计北京联名季后展”、“传统在当代”等特别项目，力图打破固有观念的桎梏，完成更多的尝试与突破，从而推动行业内品牌、机构、平台以及设计师之间的更多有效合作。

Centering on the theme of the exposition, we will continue to launch special projects including “International Trans-Boundary Cooperation”, “Diversified Asian Platforms”, “Design in Art, Art in Design”, “Design Beijing Joint Post-Season Exhibition” and “Traditions in the Contemporary”for the purpose of breaking the ambiguity of the inherent concepts and complete more attempts and breakthroughs. In such a way, more effective cooperation between brands, institutions, platforms and designers in the industry can also be promoted.

Design Beijing has long been committed to creating a platform for exhibition and communication that integrates art and design and promoting local design in the process of exchanging with international design cultures. During such a period that characterized by a profound transform of the modern art and the art market, Design Beijing adjusts its planning and business accordingly, searching for the appropriate position between art and design. Along with Art Beijing, it will present art exhibitions with the largest scale and highest content in early summer in Beijing.

作为以“艺术·设计·生活”为主题的视觉文化展览，将“艺术·设计·生活”三者相融则是“设计北京”的不变初衷。在展示众多优秀设计品牌的同时，设计北京策划诸多特别项目以“展览+论坛”的形式呈现，如：“国际跨界合作”、“多元亚洲平台 ” 、“ 设计北京联名季后展“等，不断探索在同一时代之下、同一领域当中，不同地理区域、不同文化背景的设计平台、机构、设计师之间的合作交流的可能，为行业内的创新发展提供更多的灵感的同时拓宽了公众对当代设计的认知与理解。

As a visual culture exhibition with the theme of "art · design · life", integrating the three concepts of "art, design and life" is always the original intention of Design Beijing. While demonstrating various excellent design brands, Design Beijing has planned many special projects to be presented in the form of “exhibitions + forums”, including the “international trans-boundary cooperation”, “diversified platforms in Asia”, “post season exhibition of Design Beijing”, etc. Design Beijing also explores the possibility of cooperation and exchange between design platforms, institutions, and designers under different geographical areas and cultural background, based on the same era and the same field, providing more inspiration for the innovation and development in the industry while broadening public awareness and understanding of contemporary design.

The Fifth Design Beijing Fair will be held in 2019 at National Agriculture Exhibition Center (Beijing). We will invite design institutions and designers from Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, and other countries and regions in Asia, Europe and America, to plan a grand banquet with diversified art presentation to take the audience and participants into a world of art, design and life.
